Hi, my name is Richard. Nice to meet you and thanks for looking at my website!

Just a little bit about me. I have been an English teacher for about thirteen years. I've worked in diiferent countries and with many different students from all around the world. I've taught Cambridge examinations and have been the head IELTS teacher.

I've worked in Academic English for about twenty five years and taught in university environments, I completed an MPhil thesis, have also collaborated in research at international universities and my work has featured in a number of publications.

So, I decided to put my experiences in English teaching and together to offer an Academic English Service. I can also help with Business English, General English and IELTS, so please let me know if you would like any help with these.

I can provide a reassuring and supportive environment every step of the way to help you learn and develop your English and realise what you can do! I can develop a personalised program of study with you, suited to your schedule and needs.

I'd describe myself as very patient and l like working with people. I can support you and please don't be worried about making mistakes, its a natural part of learning new things (I know that sometimes learning can be a little bit scary and new for some people).
